Valuable information for Georgia Massage Therapists
Licensing Update / Organize your CE Credits / Network ing
Calendar of Events

Not all CEU's are alike.
The Georgia Board of Massage Therapy  accepts only NCBTMB-approved providers.  Georgia requires 24 hours of continuing education in order to renew our
license by October 31st every even year, and has written new rules regarding live classroom learning.   Florida LMT's must use CEU's
approved by the Florida
Board of Massage Therapy.  AMTA Professional Active members must take 48 hours of Continuing Education every four years and does not approve CEU's but
rather provides
guidelines for acceptable continuing education, and accepts NCTMB or NCTM certification in lieu of CEU's.  IMA requires 16 hours of units
approved by IMA every two years.
ABMP Certified Members are required to maintain 16 hours of continuing education every two years.
